Comex No Longer Working For Apple

Comex, the hacker behind the Jailbreakme exploits recently left his internship with Apple. After a year working for the company he was unable to extend his internship due to confusion and because he had not responded to an email. He did mention in an interview with Forbes that the whole situation was more complicated than the one missed email. He plans to continue studies at Brown University with no plans on working on an iOS 6 jailbreak.

So… no point in delaying. As of last week, after about a year, I’m no longer associated with Apple.

In the meantime @Planetbeing stated that he has 3/4 of the vulrabilities down for an untethered iOS 6 jailbreak

@planetbeing not to bother you, but if its a successful tether would you release it as that or continue to work for an untether?

@payturr It's likely we would try working on an untether for awhile. No sense burning 3 vulns for tethered when 4 will get you untethered.
