Get Google Maps Back On iOS 6 [Maps+]

With the hundreds of thousands of people in uproar about the new ‘Apple Maps’ system in iOS 6, it seems like iOS users are doomed to walk the streets in unknowing dismay forever. Not so, because you read JBN! No more will you have to fall off bridges, or go to locations within the sea. Maps+ is a new app in the app store which takes advantage of the hoards of people looking for mapping alternatives, however it’s probably the best one. Maps+ is totally powered by Google Maps, which means it’s essentially the same app, just in a different wrapper - and it’s pretty good! Check it out below:
The app istelf is quite impressive, displaying a good amount of detail and even some features that the iOS 5 maps didn’t have; like terrain view. Initially it looks a little weird, and may take some time getting used to it - but it should be a more then suitable replacement for Apple’s ‘beautiful vector based maps’.
