One of the sad realities that the development of smartphones, and smart devices such as tablets and iPods, is that battery life on the devices seem to be getting worse as the technology improves - rather than better. For this reason, third party manufacturers have started to create a number of external power solutions so you can power your devices up on the go. New Trent is one company that has been particularly prominent in this market, and they sent over the iCarrier 12000mAh external battery to review for your enjoyment (and informations). This is incredible for a portable charger, and would be brilliantly useful to keep in your backpack to keep everything charged over a weekend away, for instance.

In short, I think this is a fantastic product for the price, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough.
