Online orders for Apple’s iPhone 5 now only have to wait 2-4 days for shipment.Apple keeps improving on the production and shipping of their latest handset. Originally what was a three to four week wait has steadily been dropping over time. Supply started catching up to demand in mid-November when the estimate dropped to two to three weeks. Then if fell to two weeks, then one week and now to the present 2-4 days.
Several analysts show there is no wait time at several physical Apple Stores. Third party retailers are also showing a healthy supply of in-stock iPhone 5s.
Sterne Agee analyst Shaw Wu has bumped up his sales prediction to 47.3 million units this quarter. That is up from his previous prediction of 46.5 million units.
