Apple Lightning Cable vs. Knock-Off Lightning Cable! (Video)

When Apple released their new technology to charge the devices post-September 2012, it made the 30-pin connector obsolete. The transition to Lightning was not easy for my consumers as a good amount of people invested exuberants amounts of money in dock, and proprietary cables. Although change is hard, Apple’s Lightning connector brings a few new features to the table. For starters it is reversible allowing the user to plug it in either way. It is 80% thinner, and provides faster data speeds. As time evolves, knock-off products come about. In this video, we show you the comparison between a knock-off Lightning cable that retails for $3, versus an official Apple Lightning cable coming in at
$19. Which one is right for you and your beloved gadget?
