New Apple Patent Suggest Features on iWatch! (Video)

KEATON FEBRUARY 23, 2013 2
Apple’s iWatch has just become a reality with the discovery of the patent Apple filed in late August of 2011. The rumor that was unpredicted by a long shot, now appears to become a thing. To go into detail, the following quote is what the patent states, “The most recent widespread use of such a device was the slap bracelet, also called the slap wrap. The slap bracelet consists of layered flexible steel bands sealed within a fabric cover. Typical slap bracelets are roughly one inch in width by nine inches in length. In a first equilibrium position they can be flat. The second equilibrium is typically reached by slapping the flat embodiment across the wrist, at which point the bracelet curls around the wrist and stays relatively secure in a roughly circular position.” The iWatch is alleged to feature a flexible willow glass display, a slap-on mechanism, and more.
Can Apple’s iWatch differentiate it from other competition that already sets a high standard? Can the idea turn into a solid product, that not only brings “new” ideas to the table, but hits the correct price point? Stay tuned as we will keep you up to date.
