This is how toggles should look in iOS 7

This is how toggles should look in iOS 7

Here at JBN, we love a good concept video. Due to this being a relatively simple way for artists to display their user interface design skills, this particular genre never ceases to amaze me. A new concept has hit YouTube, in which the creator visualises a method for toggles within iOS, and they’re simply beautiful. It looks incredibly intuitive, unobtrusive and seems like it would fit right into the iOS ecosystem. The video is below:
My favourite idea with this concept, is how the toggles simply reveal themselves from the status bar. This makes it very simple to access, whist being universally accessible. They also seem to give a fantastic amount of control to the user, with some toggles being simplistic, and others more in depth – such as the media controls.
Concepts like this always spice up my imagination for what iOS could be like if Apple wanted it to be. It remains to be seen if features like this will be accessible in time for iOS 7, but I sure hope they will be. If not? I guess there is always NCsettings.
