Viber hacking appears to extend to app’s App Store description

Viber's Apple App Store account hacked; Description changed by hackers to "We created this app to spy on you, PLEASE DOWNLOAD IT!

Last week, 9to5mac noted that popular communications app Viber was hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army, which led to aspects of Viber’s website being defaced with the message “The Israeli-based “Viber” is spying and tracking you.”
