Once again we are back with the hottest topic roaming in the tech world, the Budget iPhone or now known as the iPhone 5C. This time there is no rumor but something even bigger and weird. China, the country which is well-known for its fake and cheap Apple products has already started selling iPhone 5C for $16! Yes folks $16. Read below for details.

Apfelpage.de is a German blog and one of their colleagues from China ordered an iPhone 5Sfrom Taobao, which is the Chinese equivalent of eBay. The whole set cost 98 Yuan, which is equal to $16 but the surprise ended when the delivered box contained only the hollow shell of iPhone and no other accessories. Sounds weird!
The box was entitled with “The inside is filled with yellow cardboard”
Although at the very first look the shell looked pretty real and but there was nothing real in it. The display was made up of plastic instead of glass. Here comes the most horrible part, the case or shell whatever it was, was hollow from inside and was filled with yellow cardboard. This was nothing but an expected device, which was assembled from the rumors and leak descriptions.
According to the report, the back shell contained a FCC logo, which means that this was certified device that sneaked out from the supply chain. Most of the Apple’s prototypes are kept under the radar but rumors and leak details about iPhone 5C have somehow made their way to the tech world.
As you all know that iPhone 5C will be released along with iPhone 5S, and these devices are expected somewhere in September, till then, take all rumors with a pinch of salt.
