PassHack Hides iOS Apps From Within Passbook

JassimOctober 28, 2012

It seems like Rag3Hack is churning out a huge amount of useful tools to do things such as hiding stock apps or removing the status bar in safar. However the best thing about these tools, is that none of them require a jailbreak. The most recent addition to the website which the tools are sourced from has the same functionality as the one we showed you a few days ago, in that it allows you to hide iOS applications from view, but you can do so directly from Passbook. It’s a really neat little feature, having almost a permanent settings panel for hiding apps – accessibile at will. Check out the video below to see it in action:

As someone posted in the comments of my earlier video, it seems like Safari and certificates may be the way ahead in terms of customising iDevices. If little tweaks and additions can be implemented like this, who’s to say something on a much larger scale couldn’t be implemented? We’ll have to see in the future about how it all pans out, but needless to say it would be nice considering jailbreaks for later iOS versions are getting more and more difficult to create.
If you like what you see, head over to the Cydia Hacks website, where you’ll see a UI much like I showed off in the video, then just follow the steps I outlined and you’ll be able to hide all of Apple’s useless apps.
