It has been less than 24 hours since the release of Apple’s newest device, but already the jailbreak community has successfully bypassed the security of the iPad mini. Earlier this morning, famed jailbreaker Musclenerd tweeted a picture of a terminal on his iPad with him running as root, seen below.
The current method used for all the recent jailbreaks (including the iPhone 5) is not released, but each day brings us a few steps closer to a working, public jailbreak. Stay tuned for more news regarding the iPad mini jailbreak, and we will be sure to update you if there is any big events.
