LG Will Make the Nexus 5 (Video)

LG Will Make the Nexus 5 (Video)

Jassim ahmed March  19, 2013

With LG producing Google’s vanilla-experience device, rumors are already being stated that the South Korean company will produce the next Nexus. Deemed as the Nexus 5 it is alleged to feature a 5.2-inch OLED display, with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. It does not stop there with 4G LTE being featured on it, and 3 GB of ram! We’ll have another video covering the specifications that this device is alleged to feature, but to have Google stick with a single manufacturer for two consecutive years is remarkable. ASUS makes the Nexus 7, Samsung makes the Nexus 10 (and original Nexus), and LG produces the Nexus 4. That is quite the melting pot of companies producing something under Google.
In the future after the Nexus 5, I believe that Google will employ their own manufacturing team to produce these devices to cut these third parties out. Therefore maximizing the search-engine’s revenue. After all, it makes sense that Google would want to yield more money, and therefor make the devices straight from Google. In other regards, we might see this device at Google I/O in mid-May, but it does not appear that enough rumors/leaks have been present thus suggesting that we have a little ways to go. Also, the Nexus 4 was released on October 29th, 2012, and the Nexus 5 is alleged for a mid-October 2013 launch. Be sure to stick around as we’ll have all news regarding Google’s next device, the Nexus 5!
