Facebook For iOS Updated To 6.0 With Chat Heads And Improved News Feed

Today, Facebook updated their iOS application to version 6.0, bringing many new features including chat heads, a new messaging feature from Facebook’s new android skin, Facebook Home. Chat Heads work the same as on Android with one major downside, they can only appear while the Facebook app is open. This is due to the nature of iOS and the sandboxing that prevents Facebook from expanding upon its app.

In addition to Chat Heads, more features have been added to the news feed section. You can now easily filter between categories listed above. The interface looks a little more unique for the iPad version and features the same additions as the iPhone app. All these features can be yours now by updating or downloading Facebook for iOS.
