Just moments ago, Apple announced and demoed the newest version of iOS, the ‘flat’ iOS 7. This next iteration of iOS brings a host of user interface changes and new features, the most important of which received a demo at WWDC.
To the home screen, Apple has added a feature that was once seen on jailbroken phones, that causes the background to shift as you tilt the device. The whole interface has been cleaned up, with no extra flash or sheen.
Notification Center has been revamped as well, with a new translucent background and “Today View” that allows you to see everything happening for the rest of the day.
Control Center is a brand new feature that adds a window that scrolls up from the bottom of the screen, providing quick access to various controls or toggles that people use frequently. You will be able to change brightness, control media, and launch apps right form Control Center.
AirDrop
Also, Apple has added AirDrop to iOS, which will allow you to quickly transfer files between devices. More on this soon.
