This guide will jailbreak any iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad running iOS 7.1.1 Untethered (meaning no restrictions)
Surprisingly, an untethered jailbreak for 7.1.1 was released today. The Chinese PanGu development team recently posted a download for their jailbreaking software. The jailbreak has been tested and proved working by popular hacker iH8sn0w. That being said the developers behind the 7.1.1 jailbreak added illegal bloatware in the processes and it is still uncertain if any data will be compromised so use at your own risk.
- Download the jailbreak Windows / Mac
- Connect your device via USB and open the application. Make sure your iTunes is updated and you are on at least iOS 7.1
- Click the only button
- Uncheck the only box on the screen
- Next, on your device open Settings > General > Data and Time and turn off “Set Time Automatically” and change it to 02 June 2014 at 8:30PM or 20:30
- Do this as it tells you to and the jailbreak will continue
- An icon will appear on your homescreen. Click it hit continue and wait
- After restarting and respringing your device will be jailbroken. Congrats!
