Planetbeing confirms iOS 6.1.3 is likely to patch evasi0n Jailbreak exploits

JASSIM AHMED FEBRUARY 25, 2013 2
David Wang, better known among the jailbreaking community as ‘Planetbeing‘, sat down withForbes earlier this week to discuss the state of the evasi0n jailbreak.
According to Wang, ‘at least one’ of the 5 bugs in iOS currently being exploited to achieve the untethered jailbreak have been fixed in the new version. Just because only one of the exploits being patched, doesn’t mean it’s insignificant. As Planetbeing puts it:
If one of the vulnerabilities doesn’t work, evasi0n doesn’t work,” he says. “We could replace that part with a different vulnerability, but [Apple] will probably fix most if not all of the bugs we’ve used when 6.1.3 comes out.
iOS 6.1.3, which is currently at beta 2, will be released in the coming weeks, and it’s is essential that you do not update to this firmware if you want to retain your jailbreak. Of course remember to stay locked to JailbreakNation, as we will continue to bring you up to date news on the current status of the untethered iOS 6 jailbreak.
